I saw this on StyleSoCoy recently and have decided I'm going to go for it! I love the concept and now I am so close to fitting in to my pre-baby wardrobe it seemed a good time to give it a whirl. I'm going to try and post one of the below over the next 30 days (not necessarily in this order). I know when I did OOTD for The whole month of September it made me use more of what I had in my closet .. this will no doubt have the same effect. It's a great way to rediscover some old favourites that have slipped off your radar.

3.     A piece of clothing or jewellery that was a gift
4.     A shirt that you haven’t worn yet.

9.     A cute dress/ skirt.
10. An outfit you wore on a special day.
11. A piece of jewellery that a Grandparent gave you.

Guest Blog Post - My Mother & Her Clothes

My mother and her clothes
What my mother wears is fast becoming the bane of my life. Every morning before I go to school I have to check she is wearing an ‘age appropriate’ outfit for the day. When we are out shopping I constantly have to remind her how old she is and that lycra is NOT appropriate. Now, I am all for people having individual styles, but honestly mum, purple cotton trousers with a green trim is taking it a bit far. I think she sometimes forgets she is representing me as well as herself and people will judge me for what she wears. If she comes to collect me from somewhere and is wearing something horrible then I have to run to the car before she gets out and embarrasses me.
One of my mums greatest loves is her work shoes. Why on earth she felt the need to buy the clumpy, black horrible shoes for work is beyond me. Not only that, she then wears theses shoes when she is not at work! She wears them with jeans, skirts and the worst of all, tracksuit bottoms. She looks like she has just got out of bed and pulled random items out of her very own dressing-up box.
Another one of her treasured items is her flannel shorts. Why, why, why?! This material should have never left the factories never mind found it’s way into shops. My mum’s pair are grey and she wears them every single year on holiday, I am sick of seeing them. If I say to her “Why don’t you buy yourself a nice new pair of shorts this year?” She says “There is nothing wrong with these!” Mother, I can think of hundreds of things wrong with them.
My mother’s accessory of choice is her woolly hat. She looks ridiculous in it and I have tried several times to ‘dispose of it’, but sadly our dog keeps digging it up. This hat is black and really bulky, it is possibly one of the ugliest things I have ever seen. Not only that but hats really don’t suit my mum so she looks a million times worse in it. Her excuse is “It’s only for walking the dog in” Yes mother, but just because you are walking the dog it doesn’t make you invisible to everyone else, they can still see the monstrosity you have on your head, I’m surprised the dog isn’t embarrassed.
I think the reason my mum has so many vile clothes is because she shops in places that I would never dream of going in. The kind of shops that are lavender scented and have a ‘no skirts above the knee’ policy. It seems that if you buy a top from one of these shops you have to buy the matching trousers, handbag, fascinator, necklace and broach, all in the same colour – lovely. All her friends shop their too, I bet between them they own the the whole stock, their most used phrase is “Oh! I have that top too!”.
When I have children I am defiantly not going to embarrass them as my mother does to me. Then again, I went shopping today and I saw a lovely beige suit.

About Todays Guest Blogger
My name is Sarah and I am a teenager living in England with a dysfunctional family and an ill- disciplined dog. I like dancing and shopping, much to my dads despair. My blog is basically an outpouring of all the frustrations that teenagers have. It is quite new and it would be really nice if you could give me some feedback. Hope you enjoy.

Winter Wardrobe - #1 ASOS

As I'm gearing up to shop for my slimmer shape again I thought I'd put together some wardrobe wish lists from the various online stores I frequently browse and share with you my favourite picks. You know I love my basics and Winter-time is great for my neutral tones and chunky knits but I am going to try and add some colour here and there. First up is ASOS.

I love ASOS for the variety of brands but their own stuff is more (my) budget friendly and just as good as some of the pricier pieces. Do you not LOVE that bag? The red dress is gorgeous for Christmas parties but it might be a touch short for me.. tights could help?
Skinny jeans and slouchy tops will be my staples while I lose my baby weight for sure.

Friday Night Swag

I love a bit of Friday night, after-work shopping, don't you? The only thing is I see things I don't buy and then the next day is Saturday so I inevitably return to purchase those items I've decided I must have after all.. d'oh! The whole point of late night shopping is to avoid the weekend crowds!!! Anywho. I thought I would share a few offers I noticed. Number one on my list was Boots are giving away a free Glam Eyes liquid eyeliner with any purchase over £5. Now they did me good 'cause I went in for the mint green nailpolish you see here which was £4.49 and there was no way I could find something for 50p to top uo my purchase so I ended up replacing my Stay Matte powder which died recently. Rimmel's Exaggerate liquid liner is my all time fave so I'm really looking forward to trying out the Glam Eyes. Second deal of the evening was Maybelline's new Colossal Cat Eyes mascara was down to £5.99 from £7.99 in Superdrug for it's launch PLUS you get 300 beauty card points with the purchase!! bargain! I know I bought a new mascara last week but with that kind of logic this one was practically free (expect pics and review very soon). Unfortunately as I am a total numpty I forgot to give them my beauty card when I got to the till so I'm more than a little peeved but am hoping they will add my points from my receipt.. I haven't opened it just in case.. I figured I was probably going back today anyway.
Not all of you will be interested in this next one but as I'm getting more and more fat.. okay, pregnant, I am developing the worst cellulite of my life and it's all the way down to my knee!! I know us girls are plagued with the orange peel, dimpled thighs but it's getting beyond a joke. I seem to remember getting a little obsessive about cellulite the first time round so I'm hoping it's just a symptom that will go away but none the less I couldn't resist half price Perfect Slim from Loreal. They do a whole range of "sculpting" type gels and creams and they are all half price in Superdrug right now so if you love them or have ever wanted to try them now is the time to go pick one up! I did also buy a new MUA eyeliner I've never tried before as well as a Models Own nail art doodah that I've wanted forever but they weren't as exciting as my final buy.. Coconut Oil. I forget the exact price but it was under £2 for sure. It can be used on the skin as a moisturiser, it can be used as a leave in conditioner on your hair and it can be used as an intensive mask for those with dry or damaged tresses like mine. Result! I slathered (lying - Lee slathered) it all over myself last night and this morning I am feeling pretty darn moisturised. It's a bizarre formula that is hard in the tub and melts on contact with your skin to a kind of oil. I will post about it in more detail but I urge you all to go out and get a tub.. I will be trying it out on my hair this morning too.. can't wait!

I also feel it necessary to mention this awesome jumper I got from Primark for the fabulous price of £10
I am totally in love and very excited that these plain, chunky knits are back in fashion. They are so my style and what I like is so rarely "in" so I will be embracing this trend to replenish my wardrobe for years to come. One of the items I'm going back for today is a Zara cardigan that I just can't stop thinking about. I dearly wish brands would give up putting weird elbow patches on stuff but the ones in Zara are the least vile so I think I must have it.

Do any of you indulge in a weekly spree? what awesome finds did you pick up this week?

Primarni Picks

So I stopped by Primark to browse today only to discover they have some pretty nice pieces in right now.. The pictures are just rack photos but use your imagination.. They haven't had anything I've really liked for a couple of seasons so I'm really pleased! Here are some of my faves...

I'm always drawn to chiffons, flowy fabrics and feminine prints but never reach for them in my wardrobe so these are my pucks but I'd probably never wear them lol., they're very pretty all the same!

Have you picked up anything noteworthy from the store lately?

Orgasm Multiple, Blended

I have had THE longest day!
Up early for a morning at Ellas school, she was given a "Brilliant Bee" award, very proud Mummy here!
Then a docs appt with Lee and an afternoon of birthday shopping.
It's not my birthday until next week but I want a day to prep and preen (I rarely go out) so I thought I'd do the exhausting shopping a week early. I went a little crazy but it's a treat :) Very excited to get to try out my new Nars. I've wanted the Orgasm multiple and the sheer glow FOR-EVER but I think the sales lady wanted to hug me when I bought a blush as well.. very little sales involved lol. I tried Bella Bamba by Benefit today too and I like it! I think I will purchase next week.. very cute on!

Anywho..
I'm working all weekend so I'll wish you all a great one now, and for those going to IMATS I am sooo jealous but I know I would have bankrupted myself if I'd gone!
