Wedding Countdown - Ella & Milo's Outfits

5 DAYS TO GO

Several people requested to see the kids wedding outfits so todays post and video are dedicated to just that. As you know I am (almost always) on a budget and our wedding is no different. Lee is wearing a suit he already had, my dress was around £30 from ASOS and the kids clothes are also from the highstreet. Ella will be wearing a dress from Next (found here) which she chose and was a bargainous £22. I bought her the matching shoes (also in that link) for £10 but they were a little big so I ended up finding her another pair (shown below - apologies for the quality) from Primark for just £4. Her flowery headband was also from Primark in the sale for only £1.

I can't link to this one I'm afraid as it's no longer for sale online but it was £7.99 I believe from H&M before Christmas. He wore it (below) at New Year (forgive the moustache.. I couldn't resist) but I initially bought it for the wedding. It's just so cute and he is growing so big it will fit him that bit better this weekend. So both outfits were an absolute steal and while they may not look like much here I think it will all come together on the day. Already can't wait to see the photos!

Remember When It Was Warm?

I am very fortunate to love by a beautiful man-made lake (walking distance) and I thought I'd share these pictures I found from the summertime. Much as I love winter because it brings Christmas, when it's cold outside it's nice to remember.. it's not always shiver-temperature in England! Oh and although these are from two different days and Lee does appear to be wearing the same outfit... I'd like to reassure you he does own more than those clothes lol...

Outfit Month #5

I think I'm doing pretty well keeping up with this whole "outfit month" so far. It's so much easier uploading from my phone if it's everyday commitment.

Today what I am wearing is my new chunky sweater from Primark, Topshop maternity leggings and Faith boots (as you can see from my awesome pose)

Today was my first walk TO work (I usually only have to walk home) so I needed the RedBull.. Don't judge me!

Very neutral makeup today, ABC gum from Urban Decay and Wedge from Mac on my eyes, Peaches blush from Mac and bare lips. I straightened my hair this morning for the first time in ages and I'm gonna have to review what I used on it 'cause it still feels fantastic.

It was also Ella's first day back at school, for those wondering she was itching to get back and had what she called "the best day ever" which is always nice to hear. We're on our way home from Meadowhall (again) now having stocked up on some new schoolwear and taken back some not so flattering maternity jeans to H&M. I did receive a parcel from H&M today as it happens so I'll probably be wearing what I bought tomorrow!

I'll say hi to Mickey for you...

If I've scheduled this correctly right now I should be whizzing my way to Disneyland Paris on the Eurostar.

I will be out of blogging and vlogging action for about a week although I may have pre-written a few crafty little blog posts for your perusal.

This is just a quick one to tell you about my YouTube channel I made a while back dedicated to all things none beauty related and none TTC (trying to conceive) so all of Ella's videos go on there, as do my "home video" type ones and anything and everything I don't feel belongs on my main channel. I will of course be taking my camera along on our trip and will no doubt be bringing back more footage and photos than memories. I have a terrible habit of seeing my holidays through the lens of my camera so I don't really experience them until I get home, haha! So if you guys are interested in seeing anything from the trip or anything else like it then go subscribe to that channel now in readiness. The videos aren't as frequent but they own't be anywhere else.

Aaah, now while I get back to my well deserved break I hope you all have a wonderful week wherever you are and whatever you're doing.

Birthday Party OOTD

My parents threw me a little party (at my request lol) for my birthday on Saturday.. here's a quick ootd and some other pics from the evening!

Earrings - Forever 21 (from my birmingham haul)

They served Oysters... they were supposed to be a "treat" eugh! I love shellfish and all things seafood but oysters are just horrible. They taste like the sea... literally like taking a gulp of salty sea water.. why????
