NOTD - Pink Flamingo

I've had this Barry M shade for the longest time but saw it again on Bubblegarm and had to dig it back out. I freshened it up with a touch of sparkle but Pink Flamingo still remains one of the most fun pinks I own.

Purple Ombre Nails

I really liked the neautral ombre nails I did the other day and wantyed to try it with a broader shade difference. I had these 3 purple polishes that went so well together I couldn't resist. LOVE this!

The colours I used were as above L-R
Barry M- Berry Icecream, Barry M- Boots Ltd Edition and Models Own- Purple Poppy

Maybe I'll try something different next time... glitter perhaps!

Outlet Shopping Haul

On this glorious Bank Holiday Friday I took a trip to York Designer Outlet..
I thought I would share with you some of the bargains I picked up.
First up, I've been lusting after a Bobbi Brown Custom Palette for a while but it's expensive stuff.. not at the CCO though :) This 3 pan eyeshadow palette was just £25 and the single eyeshadow and lipgloss quad were around £10 each. It's all interchangeable so as you can see I switched them up to create a more useful combination for my on the go makeup bag!

L-R - Ivory/Sage/Forest
L-R - Ivory/Sage/Forest
L-R - Ivory/Sage/Forest
I was soooo excited to find the foundation compact, this is no longer in production and they still had a lot of shade options, next time I go I will definitely pick up a spare for when I run out and I will use it VERY sparingly, only when I'm out and about - such a handy product! I got the shade "porcelain"
This is again discontinued I'm afraid, they do full pan lipsticks.glosses too I think I will pick one up next time.
The shade I got was "coral" I've listed the individual shades in the coral collection below..
clockwise - True Beige/Coral Pink/Ball/Guava
clockwise - True Beige/Coral Pink/Ball/Guava
You can then use the individual cases interchangeably too.. the description stickers are on the bottom of the pop out pans and the palettes have square spaces in the bottom (difficult to describe) so you can switch and change as you like and everything is just as useable as ever!

Here's a look at the underside... you can see here what I mean about the square spaces

Next up is a HUGE bargain from Ted Baker. I've been lusting after the Louis Vuitton Neverfull again but as always I just can't come to terms with £465 for one bag so I've been on the hunt for a really great quality highstreet one.. I have LOVED Ted Baker for some time and last time I was there I picked up a purple patent purse that I have cherished.. when I saw this I knew I had to have it. Purple is of course my favourite colour but it also has the copper coloured shiny hardware and it's real leather so will wear nicely too!
You can expect some oot posts featuring some better pics of this gem very soon! Full price it was £125, it was on sale at £85... I still didn't really want to part with that cash but it was a beautiful bag... there were a couple of tiny scuffs and so Lee bartered the saleman down to £60.. yay! Less than HALF PRICE! Absolute bargain and it will be my summer arm candy for sure :)

I have already made a date will Lee to go back very soon.. maybe next month as I had my eye on these beauties from Kurt Geiger and I think I need them!
I love them in both colours but I think I prefer the white/cream.. what do you think?
I've looked them up on the website since and they are full price stock online £85 but at the outlet they were just £49... must haves I think!

I could spend all day there I really could.. and we kind of did.. Ella and Lee are dozing now and I'm pretty wiped so here I go.. hope you all had a fabulous Good Friday!

OPI - Significant Other Colour

How gorgeous is this beautiful shade? I must admit it was difficult to photograph as there are so many dimensions to it but it's a really very delicate pearl-lavender. It's sheer and doesn't layer to a very strong result but it's very pretty all the same.

Have you tried this or know a dupe? Let me know...

Midnight Lilac

So I filmed a tutorial but something happened to my camera and I now want to throw it at the wall because all I'm left with are these not so hot photos! Grr!!! I promise to re-film but it will have to wait til I can figure out a solution to my Nikon's problem because I'm not doing it again for nothing and tutorials on my phone are fuzzy at best! So fingers crossed I'm back up and running soon in the meantime let me know what you think of what will now be the "preview"...

Oil slick all over the lid with grifter blended from the brow bone down and over the black lightening it up and adding a sparklier dimension. I also used grifter on the inner corners and oil slick on the outer over zero 24/7 liner pencil.

I'm actually wearing this in this video..
So check it out!

Nails Inc - The Mall

Painted my nails this evening with a new polish in my collection from Nails Inc "the mall"

It's a gorgeous vibrant purple. It has a real depth! Almost like a royal purple, very rich and jewel-toned.. You can get a better indication of the true shade with the flash..

Loving it!

Peacock Eyes

I didn't do a tutorial vid but I thought I'd share my MOTD with you guys..
I was going for a kind of "peacock" eyes look, what do you think?

I used Urban Decays Book of Shadows III
Kush, Haight and Rockstar
To line I used Extreme Liners from Collection 2000,
Black on the bottom lashes and Teal on the top..
They kind of stain your skin so you have to be careful but they're so easy to use and great for those that struggle with liquid liner!

Barry M - Boots Limited Edition

On my nails today for the first time since I bought it in the summer is the boots ltd ed shade for barry m

Pretty cute huh?
My nails were left stained after using the mememe polish...

Pretty bad huh? I will give it another go when the discolouration has faded and give mememe a full review but with this and the fact it chipped on day one.. Its not looking good!

MeMeMe - Exotic

Todays nails are courtesy of the MeMeMe Nail Collection
The new shades are gorgeous and dubbed "long lasting gloss" I must say they are shinier than most polishes I've tried without using a top coat! Very glossy indeed.

These pictures are after two coats, the colour is "exotic"

The brush is thick like the rimmel pro ones I love, this makes application speedy! I will do a comparison and full review when I've tried a couple more shades!

Have you already tried this polish? What did you think? Let me know!
