New Years Eve

The theme of the party at my parents house was "Hollywood" which you would think gave a lot of scope but I had NO idea what I was going as until about 10 mins before I left the house.. I have no pictures of course but I was Katy Perry. Ella was a movie star and Milo was The Godfather complete with his first moustache. Lee was just smart, as were our friends.. so as you can imagine I was a colourful character beside them. You can see my outfit and some of the evening in this video..

This picture was in no way set up but HILARIOUS, I think! I'm looking for the best caption.. leave me a comment!

That's right! I made those cupcakes, hold your applause, please... ok ok you can applaud! I am so impressed with the new gold spray I got, amazing!! If you want the recipe, it's here

Bad Taste Party

Here's a peek at my look for my parents bad taste themed new years eve party...

Nearly the whole outfit was coutesy of the primarni sale.. Apart from the shoes which are KG and really quite fabulous!

Overdid it a bit with the Urban Decay body art...

And lets not forget Lee..

We were channeling Jersey Shore incase that wasn't obvious :p

Happy New Year!

I'd like to start this post by wishing you all a very happy New Year! I hope you all had a fabulous 2010 but that 2011 will be even better!!

My year was great. It's had its ups and downs, I'd hoped to be 6 months pregnant by the time I was writing this post but alas that is still a struggle. I have found and lost a job this year before moving to something a little more me working with Urban Decay. Ella started school and is doing absolutely brilliantly and my family are all well. This is only the second new year I am ringing in with Lee which is bizarre as it feels like I've known him a lifetime. He makes me very happy and I know that the coming year will bring our divorces and our subsequent nuptials which of course makes me happier still. I am still optimistic that 2011 will bring me a new baby...hopefully it doesn't make a fool of me. I am settling in at work, I still feel the stress of a new job and the fertility issues but those aside I am content which is unusual for me. 2010 brought me youtube, blogging and into the beauty community which has changed my life. I have "met" so many wonderful, like-minded people through this hobby, I couldn't have dreamed something so simple as picking up a camera and creating a youtube channel could have brought me so much. I can only imagine how many more ridiculous and unnecessary videos I will provide over the next 12 months but hopefully amongst those will be one or two you really enjoy. I love all of my viewers/readers and just six months ago I had none of either and without you I probably wouldn't have continued to talk to myself so thank you. 

I hope you have all thought of your resolutions, I will be posting mine shortly...once I've made them :p

NYE Champale Delight

Alittle preview of my new tutorial video...

I loved my new Champale so much I had to try it out so I thought as it's NYE tomorrow it was the perfect time.

I took lots of photos trying to capture the glow but it's so hard... this is what I have... third picture down is a great shot of the sparkle in the Stardust shadow that is almost impossibly to photograph usually.
