Three Very Funny Videos...

I don't often do this but I had to share these two videos with you. The first is a clip from The Cleveland Show that we looked up to watch again because well.. it's just so darn funny! The second was randomly linked after that one and it the most impressive research/editing work I've seen since Cassette Boy vs The Bloody Apprentice (which I've also linked at the bottom for those unfortunate souls who still haven't seen it) Enjoy!

Whitney - A Not So Moving Tribute

Granted this is not my best work and I MAY have blogged this before (possibly) but given the recent passing of the legend that was Whitney Houston it seemed relevant! I will always be oddly proud of this video because despite the terrible quality and dodgy camera freezes it took a full day to film and edit and I don't think I could do it again if I tried so here I am doing my best miming to some Whitney Houston & Deborah Cox.. I'm sorry!

The Royal Races

We went to the races for the first time yesterday and I have to say, as a sober participant it's just a little dull. I got exactly no photos of the day but here are some from our evening!

We went to manana manana for tapas (doncaster) and I couldnt have been more dissappointed by the food.. We actually complained it was that terrible and the service was worse.. We ended

Up next door at central park for dessert and cocktails, virgin for me! I had a "cinderella" - passion fruit syrup, pineapple juice and lemonade, yum!

Here's a little video of the entertaining ladies ahead of us in the queue for the bus into town.. The only racing I captured on film all day and Kats youtube dancing debut.. As well as a lot of "waa-eey!!" enjoy...

Face Painting

A few weeks back Ella and I had an afternoon to ourselves so naturallly we decided to paint each others faces!

As we have no actual face paints we used whatever cheap makeup I had lying around (ther was a lot)

Here were our step by step looks...

I drew on the pattern with a pale liquid liner 

I coloured in certain sections with pale shimmery eyeshadows.. 

and the other sections with brighter colours... 

I went over with brighter still colours to define ... 

and where would be without glitter? 

beautiful!

She loved it but it was a pain to get off I can tell you...

There was a lot of glitter on that little face.

I can't really talk you through the method in her madness but I CAN tell you I was supposed to be a cat....

hmmm...

Back to the DARK SIDE

so it was inevitable I would hit the bottle again right?

If you know me but AT ALL you know I get bored real easy... so I dyed my hair for the autumn/winter season. I chose a semi-permenant colour but am under no illusion that it will wash out to the dark blonde it was.. just might go a lighter brown in case I hated it.. but I don't.. I really like it! It's actually a lot lighter than I anticipated, and kind of red :/ that wasn't the plan! I've inadvertently followed the Xfactor red hair trend lol..

 Ella helped me show off my new look...
