A lot of beauty addicts swear by their Shu Uemura Eyelash Curlers as their must have beauty tool. I'll admit I never really bought it. I've tried curlers in the past and they've done little to nothing to my lashes and those that have haven't given me any lasting effects. I've just never been impressed. I figured my eyelashes just won't do what others will. Those of you that have followed/watched me for a while will know I am not blessed with long, glossy, dark lashes. I am very much lacking in that department and as a result their are very few mascaras that I value. This beauty tool changed that. Apologies for the terrible tired eye pictures but they should go some way to showing you how this worked for me.
As my lashes are light you can't see the true effect until I applied mascara but the last picture you can compare my left eye (curled) with my right eye (not curled) and see the difference. The mascara I used was Maybelline One By One - not a curling mascara and you can see on the right it does separate and lengthen but on the left my lashes are lifted and my eye appears more open.
Another "buzz" product that I believed people were buying for the sake of a trend. Not the case.. it really did work for me! I've read that it works better with some eye shapes than others which may explain the conflicting reviews I've seen. As it's an Asian brand they apparently designed it for more almond shaped eyes.. If that's the case it may be hit and miss with who it works for but with so many people that love this.. Those that don't like it are in the minority.

I've never really used curlers before, they always sit in amongst my makeup unused. Might have to change that! The results look really good.

I have never had much luck with curlers in the past, like you said they just don't seem to work for me. If these are going on buyapowa I may have to treat myself!! They make a real difference to your eyes

What's this buyapowa you are referring to? Is this only available in the UK? It seems like we can't buy Shu Uemura anymore in the US.
