Still Obsessing...

Back in January I told you all I was obsessing over this bag

I am unhappy to tell you that my desire hasn't grown stale.. if anything I want it MORE!
I know that I want the medium size, the MM. I've read and watched so many reviews and "what's in my bag"'s to know it's the most practical size and it's especially perfect for me as my initials when I get married will be... MM! Could it be more meant to be? You don't need to answer that.
I love love love love love love love this bag and I seriously need it. It is so expensive , I have never spent so much on anything that wasn't electrical but I can't control my urge to go out and get it! For me this is now whim purchase. I don't have a spare £465 lying around to be so extravagant so if I really want it I will have to save which I am just no good at but when I look at the money I spend on rubbish every month it all adds up and if I seriously saved it might not take me that long and I would have an item I would cherish forever..
So... It's decided! I am not buying ANYTHING until I either have this bag in my hand or I give up on the dream. I love it, I want it, I need it... I will have it!
Have any of you got one? Is it as amazing as I imagine?
I think I'm going to get it in the brown as above, not the azure that I love (too light in colour and impractical for the short british summer season) and not the original LV print (look's a little cheap/tacky now there are so many fakes I think) so this is the most wearable and still understated print of them all.
It will be mine!

What are you saving for right now?

Obsession of the day 23/01/2011

Okay so I have been obsessing over this since I saw it on AndreasChoice Vegas haul but today it has reached a climax... I NEED this bag.

For those who don't know this is the Louis Vuitton Damier Azur Canvas Neverfull

It is SO beautiful. It would be the most expensive bag I've ever purchased by a long way.. I have never spent more than £60 on a bag and I've never seen a designer piece that has called out to me in such a way as this one. It's not ridiculously unaffordable, prices start at £420 for the smallest size, all the way up to £470 for the largest. The model I have my sights on is the medium MM size which retails at £445. Don't get me wrong I am not about to drop £445 without a moments thought.. I would really miss that money if I parted with it! Can I really justify spending that amount of money on a bag I can probably only get good use out of in the summer and would be living in fear of getting something on it?

I have another option of course which is the Damier Ebene.. same prices but it looks like this...
This would be a lot more wearable and definitely more practical for weathering dirt etc but at the end of the day I just don't love it like I do the Azur!
Now my birthday is coming up and I could always ask for it as a part present (I could offer to put towards) making it less of an extravagance and more affordable but then would it be the same? Is it as empowering to part pay for the bag of your dreams? And if I do get it will it live up to my lofty expectations?

So many questions surround the possible purchase of the bag.
I will, as always keep you posted but I am doing my birthday shopping this Friday after what will be a potentially tough week at work so I might feel like I've earned it ;)
And wouldn't it just look amazing in my OOTD posts?

Who am I kidding? I will have to have this bag at some point but it's a lot to fork out in one hit. What do you guys think? I know LV can be a little love/hate, I myself dislike the original LV print intensely and I know that no matter what people will think the bag is a fake.. so... is it worth it?

Obsession Of The Day 26/10/10

NAIL POLISH RACKS

You can't pass one US makeup storage video without one and I want one!  sorry not want... NEED!
I've scoured the internet and found maybe one or two on ebay going for around £30/£40 which I think is pretty excessive for what is essentially a plastic shelving rack... but needs must.. and I MUST have a nail polish rack! I REALLY want two if I'm honest.. one for polishes and the other for miscellaneous cosmetics such as individual eyeshadows/blushes.. but that's just being greedy right?
Does anyone know a permanent stockist in the UK or somewhere cheaper than ebay?
I think it will have to be my next extravagance as every day I sit at my vanity and see my nail polishes teetering on my mirror I die a little inside.. I'm not being dramatic it's really THAT important!I shall have one... and soon but here are the kinds of things I'm left looking at online in the meantime.

Obsession Of The Day 15/10/10

LONDON

Hey guys! I'm going to London tomorrow bright and early... so I will be MIA for the weekend.. no doubt that will be a lovely rest for some - I found the posts on http://gurugossip.omgforum.net/lesser-known-gurus-f60/ yesterday and in truth... they have been a secondary obsession of mine today! I shouldn't let it get to me but I'm only human.. guess I'm lucky the worst that's been said so far is that I enjoy youtube too much and upload too often! Oh and that I'm upset by haters - but that's a given...
I didn't intend to post about it but it was just so irritating... I will try my level best not to check that site again.
This post was s'posed to be about city style and packing for a weekend lol... I was gonna do a lil video about it but the hateful comments kinda put me off filming altogether so I'm gonna take a couple of days off... maybe I do bombard you all ... if so I'd rather know that be bashed on some forum. Nobody's ever complained to me, I always respond to comments etc... uuugghhh!!! I really didn't mean to get in to all that crap... Maybe I'll do a belated London video when I get back my mojo.
ANYWAY I have to go lay out my clothes and pack a bag (it's nearly midnight and the taxi comes at 6.10am eek!) so I'd best be going... I thought I would express my excitement and let you all know I'll be tweeting and twitpicing a lot this weekend so BE WARNED!

see you guys later

Obsession Of The Day 14/10/10

Lauren Conrads new book, Style, came out today in the UK and I am among those that can't wait to get their hands on a copy!

I loved LC on Laguna Beach... I followed her to The Hills... I cried when she cried (which was a lot) and was devestated when she left. I understand she probably had no life of her own but I really do miss my Lauren fix.
So the launch of this new book is very exciting! I've always loved Laurens style... If I lived somewhere warmer perhaps I would have more opportunity to emulate her fabulousity but in rainy Britain it's not really in keeping with the temperatures we face :(
The skinny jeans, the flowy vests always with the latest  killer heels and oversized shades/bags. She really is living the beautiful life.
Not a week goes by without me lusting after Miss Conrads Hair.. Usually long bohemien (yet perfectly styled) waves secured with a braid... The colour is always beautiful. All but for her blue eyes she is a similar colouring to me so she's a style inspiration I may actually be able to replicate myself... which is always nice to find!
Overall Lauren is a pretty good role model (for shallow people like myself) She's gone out and made herself a brand, young girls want to be her and Mums don't mind 'cause she seems pretty wholesome... How do you all feel about LC? I think my feelings are clear but just in case.... I LOVE HER!!! check her style and dare to tell me you don't...

I even found some pictures of Conrad wearing winter clothes :))
AKA : Clothes we Brits may actually be able to wear without freezing to death... especially now it's practically winter!
Pics are below.

Obsession Of The Day 13/10/10

My obsession today has been finding SOMETHING to draw out this spot that I have on the side of my nose. It's like a big lump now and it's been there for 2 weeks unchanged grrr!
I saw this product on Gemsmaquillage's September Favourites and just the name suggested it may be my dream solution... I looked it up and it sounds like exactly what I need...
PROBLEM : I can't find it in the UK!
I have it on good authority that kiehl's products are stocked at SpaceNK but according to their website, not this one :(
It sucks!!!!
I've been searching for homemade remedies all evening and found nothing I think would be as good so.. any suggestions? Anyone tried anything that has worked?
Or better still does anyone know where I can buy Kiehl's drawing paste?
Please oh PLEASE??!
Ugh...
I am destined to have this lump on my face forever aren't I :(
I'll keep you posted

Obsession Of The Day 12/10/10

Yesterday I took a chance on a new face wash..
I recently reviewed a few on my YT channel and as a result had a ton of recommendations from my fabulous subscribers!
This was one of them..
When I saw it at a NEW INTRODUCTORY PRICE in superdrug I knew I was fated to buy it.
I've used it only once and I LOVE it!
Much like the Loreal "scrublet" I bought in to the scrubby end more than anythig else..
although I did like the part that said it "fades marks"! I have a lot of scars on my face, not bad but noticeable to me from previous acne/breakouts (which by the way are not getting better with age!!!)
So I didn't hold out much hope for the product inside as I'm almost always disappointed!
Unless it's got some kind of exfoliator I can't really tell whether one wash works better than another... I want an instant cleaner feeling and this totally gives you that.
The scrubber is fantastic, a zillion times better than the Loreal scrublet... a ZILLION!!!
And the wash gets a real good lather up... I honestly have seen an improvement after 1 day!
I got my MR to use it on my back as I suffer from "backne" (eeuugghh)
and even there it seems to have made a big improvement.
I may well be a convert!
I have used it once so It's not a perfect time to start taking photos but today is better than tomorrow!
I will take photos of my face/back... (Ok I probably will need assistance taking photos of my back :p) and I will post my results after a week..
My back will be a better test because I don't really use anything to control my breakouts there so there will be no other forces at work.. where as my face I will moisturise and use other treatments.
So.. all in all, one day in I love this product and I have high hopes that in a weeks time I will be able to tell you all, hand on heart, that there is no other product that's worked so well for me!Has this new revelation worked for you??
Leave me some lovely comments if so!

Obsession Of The Day 11/10/10

Right now I'm after a new handbag...
I like to acrry a lot of stuff so a bit slouchy shoulder bag in generally what I go for but I haven't seen anything affordable that I like :(
I've been looking for so long and last week I was shopping after work when my handbag strap snapped :(
Needless to say that ended the shopping trip early and now finding a replacement has been pushed to the top of my priority list..
Here are some of my current favourites..
What do you think? Do you know where I can find anything nice and under say £60... big enough to keep all my crap in?

I don't care if it's "pleather" or fabric or what..  I just want a slouchy, comfortable bag that fits all my stuff in and will go with both my workwear and my jeans..why is it so hard to find?
I will buy one Friday night in prep for my little trip down to London so you can expect an excited twitpic :)

Obsession of The Day 10/10/10

Jennifer Aniston... style icon for millions of women all over the world..
I have lusted after her hair for many many years... in fact it's probably over a decade now!
As a teen I had "the rachel" and as a 20 something I still covert her fabulous barnet
I think right now I'm the closest I've ever been.
My hair colour is really natural, not too blonde/too brunette it's just perfectly in the middle.
I think with a tan it would look a lot more like hers but right now all pasty faced it's not really working quite the same way.
That's why she has such a tough look to emulate.
She's of Greek heritage and has a natural olive complexion and very dark hair and eyes.
She's really quite beautiful but the lighting changes from picture to picture and so it's impossible to tell what she actually looks like!
For all I know my hair now is exactly the same shade, the only reason I feel like I'm so far off the look is because... I don't look anything like her LOL
so this week I shall tan and then we'll see...
I may have a few caramel streaks put in prior to the wedding..
I haven't been to a pro hairdresser in literaly years so maybe this is the right time to take in a photo.
ANYWHO
I promised I would update with my obsession daily so here I am, I put out a monster blog post minutes earlier than this so I'm sorry I'm rambling on about nothingness again but if you've read this far you must be a really die hard fan, I love you for that!!!

Who's your hair inspiration right now?
