I can't believe it's the Cosmo Blog Awards again already! I just saw it over on The Sunday Girl's blog and thought... surely not, but low and behold here is the nomination form.
I'm not going to mince my words.. I would love to be nominated. This year my blog is classed as 'established' which makes the competition even tougher but hey.. you gotta be in it to win it so here's my plea and the 'nominate me' button will appear in my sidebar very soon. There's been a lot of controversy regarding blog awards in the last 6 months, magazines are getting a helluva lot of free advertising from us driving you over to their site but I really don't care.
At the end of the day - not to sound defeatist - but I know I won't win, not because of my content but because it's a popularity contest and the small percentage of you that read this and go on to the form is nothing compared to the audience of the big-timers of the blogging world but just to be shortlisted would be a really big deal. So.. if you want to make my day go over and nominate me - link - for best established beauty blog, I would say you can nominate other people but let's face it.. I want you to nominate me! Oh ok, if you must you can nominate MakeupSavvy (I have so I guess that's allowed)
