I had a chunk of GFC followers on my blogger blog and although I tried to stagger my move over to Wordpress it did all feel a bit rushed in the end so I thought I'd put out a final blast to tell/remind you where I am. If my redirect is working correctly you should only see this for a moment before being transferred to my new site. You can add my url to your blog roll so it appears just like it did on blogger.. I posted about it over on my new site missbudgetbeauty.co.uk

Missing Something?
I know I said I'd post on my blogspot blog and my wordpress blog until the 1st but it got old quick and I'm finally 99% (I'll never be totally done tweaking) happy with my layout so I'm just blogging over there. The good news is that although I don't have GFC on wordpress you CAN follow my new site on your blogger reading list just like this one. For that post see here
It's taken a long time to reach you regular readers and I appreciate your comments and feedback but on blogspot I found it tough to keep up and reply. One of the best things on wordpress is the awesome system to keep track of them so you can expect a response to a comment no matter how old the post. There are so many benefits and hopefully now I've found a way to stay on your dashboard you'll stick with me. As I've mentioned before this blog from the 1st July will redirect to my new site so if you DO want to keep up with my posts you have some time left to do it :)
I think this could be the final post here so for those of you I'm leaving behind, it's been fun, and for those that are coming with.. see you on the other side!

Me + Wine = THIS
I recently discovered My Drunk Kitchen, a HILARIOUS web series on YouTube by an even more hilarious Hannah Hart. What can I say? I was inspired and having yearned to do a kind of 'Khila's thoughts on life' series for a while I decided to combine the two styles and create a kind of test video to see what you guys (my audience) thought of it. So far the response has been overwhelmingly positive with just a pinch of 'you should know better'...
Thoughts?
Should this series continue?

Follow My Wordpress Blog via Google!
I didn't even know this was possible but the ever resourceful Gemsmaquillage tweeted me this invaluable tidbit of info I couldn't go without sharing with you guys. I know there were a few of you worried (I wish) you'd lose touch with my blog when I officially move from blogspot to wordpress on 1st July BUT there is a way! Watch this video.
For those who don't know or need a reminder my new url will be www.missbudgetbeauty.co.uk and it's up and running now if you want to make the switch early!
Let me know if you manage to do this.

Boots Summer Points Events...
Laura and I have unearthed quite the puzzler this week regarding the quarterly Boots points statement. I received a threshold spend bonus points voucher (above) that can be used on a specific day at a specific time at a specific store. Both Laura and Kat who I've spoken to this week and live in the same town as me received something different. Their vouchers were valid until 1st July but offered different bonus points for different spends. The only difference I'm aware of is that I do most of my shopping at Meadowhall whereas they both shop more in town but I'm extremely curious to see the variations that Boots have sent out so if you've got your points statement tell me... what's your voucher say???

L'Oreal - Sublime Bronze
Over the past few weeks I’ve been trialling the many fake tan products I have in my cupboard and will be sharing them all individually this month before hitting you with a monster tan post where I unveil my top picks, hopefully in time for some nicer weather.
Application
The Sublime Bronze range from L'Oreal is vast and I've tried other formulas but this is my favourite. It's a 'quick dry' gel, you can buy a tinted version which is easier to see where you've been but this is the regular one. I use a tanning mit and smooth it all over in sections using whatever is left on the mit to do my face. It's not exactly quick dry but it's tacky after 5 minutes and I'd say after 15/20 it's 100% dry which might not sound amazing but if you've used a lot of fake tans you'll know that's pretty impressive for a non-mousse formulation.
Colour
it's a touch warm for my liking. I wouldn't say it was orange but it's not the most natural tan I've used, however, I get a great even, streak free coverage every time and it might be the only tan I've tried that doesn't look a bit dodgy on my hands and feet so in that respect it's very natural, I think the colour issue is more because I'm so pale.
Longevity
I'd say I get 2 or 3 days of full tan out of this before it starts to break down.
Wear
This is one of the tans that you need to exfoliate to make sure it wears off evenly. If left to its own devices it will cling to dry patches and wear off unevenly so scrub and moisturise daily!
Scent
The fake tan smell is strong with this one (ooh that was a bit Star Wars, wasn't it?) The morning after application I make sure to wash all over 2 or 3 times and then again that evening and it seems to sort it but you're not going to want to apply this the day of an event.
Summary
Overall it's one of the best self tanners you can buy from the drugstore in my opinion. You can buy super expensive formula's and still suffer the same cons without the pro's of the streak free, non-drying gel.
Would I Repurchase?
Yes, this was my go to self tan a few years ago, before I discovered St Tropez and revisiting it now I don't know why I ever stopped using it. It's a relatively quick drying formula which means you can go to bed without feeling sticky and uncomfortable and I can rely on it to give me the same results every application.
Available for £9.65 here
