So it's been a week, having no 'before' photos I can't truly demonstrate the results but I included some afters just for kicks. As I mentioned in the first post my skin has been drier lately and pretty dull so I chose the Invigorating scrub to trial. Full disclosure - during the past 7 days I haven't used my Clarisonic but I have used my Soap & Glory Peaches & Clean cleanser on my 'no scrub days'.
It's recommended that you scrub 3-4 times a week but I'll admit.. I pushed it to 5. After using my Clarisonic exclusively for so long the clean feeling this gave me was addictive. I forgot how much I loved face scrubs, they were always part f my routine and dya know.. a facial brush just doesn't cut it.
Here are a couple of uber flattering photos of me, enjoy! I had a few comments on my last post about these scrubs being too harsh on the skin. I can't stress enough that skin care is not a one size fits all area.. what works for me might not work for you. My skin has always responded well to exfoliation, that used to be to manage breakouts and now it's to brighten and smooth. Regardless I found this to be tough enough to leave me feeling squeaky clean with cheeks so soft they could rival Milo's (4months old) yet gentle enough for regular use. Does my face look brighter? I think so but how do you really measure that? I know it doesn't look dull and that's really all I want.
From now on I will be switching out my Clarisonic every other day in favour of a good old fashioned face scrub because St Ives has me hooked on a feeling and that feeling is clean!
Excuse the freckles and tired eyes.. both souvenirs from Las Vegas.
