My Hair..

My hair has finally grown to what I'd describe as "mid-length" and the last thing I want to do it cut it but I really want a change. I love the ombre look but I don't think it looks great on shorter locks and I have lots of layers so I'm not sure it would work. I want to lighten up while still keeping a rich brunette tone throughout, I've been too blonde in the past and it washes me out. I like my hair dark but it can make me look so pale.. I just want something I little different. I love this highlighted look LC's rocking (below) and am hoping to achieve something similar with the help of my hairdresser friend who's visiting tomorrow. The day before my hospital visit may not be the optimum time for making changes like this... after all the first baby pictures will be around forever so I'm keeping my fingers crossed I don't hate it. In the meantime if any of you have any fabulous colour suggestions/pictures for me I would LOVE to see them... leave me a comment!

  1. If you hate your hair for the baby photos, just get really nice matching hats for you and baby Milo haha.

Love LCs hair! Especially the curls she usually has in it.

  2. I think your hair is classy a brunette shade, but I understand that need to "lighten up" only too well.
I would simply have some fine highlights from mid lengths to ends (lower root maintenance) but NOT on the top layer, just so they peep through from underneath. I had this done some years ago and it really saves having roots done all the time! It looked similar to LC's too :D xx
