Lets set aside the damage I did to my hair with all the bleach and how I should leave it alone and just think about this... red or not red? haha
My hair is fading and a rate of knots so why not go for a bit of a crazier colour while it's likely not to last?
I have always coveted Ashlee Simpsons red hair and think she's one of the few people that suits it over any other colour I've seen even though it's far from her natural shade. I have dabbled with red in the past (see video below) but it faded and I decided to stay brunette but I liked how it looked... what do you think? I have a colour on stand by I'm just waiting... deciding... googling... hmmm...
Doooo it, worst comes to worst you can pop a brown dye over the top. When I was red I'd use a dye to get my roots and the general all over colour even and lighter, probably once every 8 weeks? And then every fortnight I used a directions colour stain conditioner, not a dye so no horrible chemicals, but it stains your hair and gives the most vidid, gorgoues colour.

I used poppy red, and it leaves such a bright, shiney finish and it doesn't damage your hair at all <3

Thats the colour I got anyway, dunno if it helps but it's like £5 for 2 pots on ebay and each pot does about 2 full, mid length hair coverings!

I asume you mean a copper red, as them picture look more of a copper/ginger red, if you do, i really do think you should go for it, it's really unique and nice :D <3

ReplyDeleteI think you should leave your hair as it is. You've done so much damage to it already I wouldnt risk it. I loved your hair when it was dark and with a fringe but obviously a fringe isnt practical for summer. To be honest you used to have lovely soft looking hair and now when I watch your videos I can tell its dry, damaged and ready to give up. I feel mean saying that lol Plus with you being pregnant your hairs gonna grow like mad! xxx
ReplyDeletei think it would suit you perfectly - you pretty much suit any colour you dye your hair :-) i was thinking though, what about your hair-do extensions? because they're synthetic hair, can they not dye? or am i just being silly?

The red hair really suits you in your video! I think you should get it dyed red. I'm obsessed with red hair but have never gotten it done cos I know it wouldn't suit me at all... if I was paler, then yeah, otherwise no... ^_^
