I think I kept it on for about two weeks in the end to try and get my money's worth, but the regrowth was pretty bad by then. It is also a bugger to remove! I don't think I'll be getting it done again unfortunately :-(Beauty Birdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17848020725436850482noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4431000801551889881.post-43747989215119858942012-04-02T15:33:05.939+01:002012-04-02T15:33:05.939+01:00i got a shellac manicure the other week as my frie...i got a shellac manicure the other week as my friend needed to practice. it stayed on quite well and it more peeled at the tops than chipped! the regrowth wasnt great either. i think for a holiday it would be good but i like to change my polish colour every few days!Victoriahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07597626576757544236noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4431000801551889881.post-62836058229133431342012-04-02T05:37:09.241+01:002012-04-02T05:37:09.241+01:00I'm so sorry to hear that. The salon I go to is a 20 minute drive from my house and I pass by 20 other nail places, but I only have to go there once a month, it's worth it. I get pink and white tips, but they do the gel thing you have on pedicures too (I can't wait to try) and I seen the color selection they must of had 24+ colors. Hope you can find a great place! =( thanks for sharing.queeeeeenxphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07898652396587416006noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4431000801551889881.post-61954423886624875712012-03-31T22:24:38.649+01:002012-03-31T22:24:38.649+01:00I used to get gelish once a month, I was lucky it ...I used to get gelish once a month, I was lucky it didn't chip. I think that its best to get a french manicure, if you do get them to paint the white bit bigger then the actual nail means the regrowth isn't that noticeable. I used to just peel off the colour slowly but surely, my nails were fine but then I oil/cream them most days. My friend was not so lucky. I think the technician has a lot to do with it as well.Kara's Randomshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01106934234586568588noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4431000801551889881.post-72472404621698836102012-03-31T18:08:40.311+01:002012-03-31T18:08:40.311+01:00I was dissapointed when I had my gel nails done as...I was dissapointed when I had my gel nails done as well! Like you I thought the painting was a bit messy and they didn't stand up at all to using my wheelchair! I wouldn't get them done again I think.
Maddy x
http://thoughtsofagirloncrutches.blogspot.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4431000801551889881.post-74974729310444624512012-03-31T17:21:12.111+01:002012-03-31T17:21:12.111+01:00Loving your blog and YouTube channel! Just make sure you get it removed properly, my beautician had special remover stuff as the ordinary stuff in the shops just didn't shift it and she charged me a fiver for the privilege!dairywifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14656595610887272863noreply@blogger.com
